Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our use regarding your personal information:

    6. Province
    7. Nationality

    Plaza Indonesia may use the collected information for the following purposes:

    1. To create and manage your account in the loyalty program.
    2. To track and manage your loyalty Plaza Indonesia Privilege (“PIP”), rewards, and transactions.
    3. To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
    4. To send notifications about updates, promotions, and exclusive offers.
    5. To improve the App and develop new features.
    6. To analyze usage trends and preferences to enhance your experience.
    7. To comply with the applicable laws and protect the integrity of the App.

  3. Sharing Your Information

    We do not share your personal information with any third parties. However, we may share your information with trusted partners (without obtaining user’s prior written approval), such as:

    1. Service Providers: For redemption of PIP processing, customer support, and app analytics.
    2. Business Partners: If you participate in joint promotions, we may share limited information with partners (without obtaining the user’s prior written approval) for marketing purposes.

    Please also note that Plaza Indonesia may use its discretion in allowing the corrections requested and/or may require further documentary evidence of the new information to avoid fraud and inaccuracy.

  8. Children’s Privacy

    The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 17. In the case we discover that a child under 17 has provided us with personal data, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.

  9. Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy

    To ensure a secure and compliant platform, Plaza Indonesia may require users to undergo a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. This process helps to verify users' identities to protect against fraud and comply with the applicable laws.

    However, Plaza Indonesia does not store your KYC data directly. Instead, we rely on trusted third-party service providers, Certificate Authority partner, and governmental authorities for secure handling and verification.

    1. Information Collected for KYC

      As part of the KYC process, the following information will be collected and securely transmitted to our third-party service providers and Certificate Authority partner for verification:

      • KTP (Indonesian National ID)
      • Selfie photo for identification verification (for comparison with your KTP) No additional documents (e.g., proof of address, other IDs) will be required for the KYC process.

    2. How We Use KYC Data

      Plaza Indonesia facilitates the KYC process through trusted third-party service providers and Certificate Authority partner who handle your KTP and selfie photo for the following purposes:

      • Identity verification to ensure that users are who they claim to be.
      • Compliance with the applicable laws, such as anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations.
      • Access to loyalty program features, such as high-value rewards or PIP redemptions.

      Plaza Indonesia does not store your KYC data - your KTP and selfie photo are securely transmitted to third-party verification providers and Certificate Authority partner for processing.


    3. Sharing KYC Information

      Plaza Indonesia works with trusted third-party service providers (“Third Party Service Provider”), Certificate Authority partner, and government authorities to handle and verify your KYC information. We share your KTP and selfie photo only for identity verification and compliance purposes:

      • Third-party verification providers and Certificate Authority partner: The Third-Party Service Provider and Certificate Authority partner handle the secure verification of your KTP and selfie photo. The Certificate Authority partner will issue a digital certificate as evidence that your personal data has been verified and is in accordance with the data recorded in the system of the government agency authorized to issue the identity.
      • Government authorities: If required by applicable laws or in response to an investigation, your KYC information may be shared with the relevant government authorities.

    4. Security and Retention of KYC Data

      Although Plaza Indonesia does not store your KYC data, the Third-Party Service Provider and Certified Authority Partner implement stringent security measures to protect your KTP and selfie photo, such as encryption and restricted access. Your KYC data will be retained by the Third-Party Service Provider and Certified Authority Partner only in compliance with this Privacy Policy or as necessary to perform our obligations to you or to enforce or defend our interests as may be deemed necessary, or as required by the applicable laws and our policy in relation to data retention.

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your data.
